I don't think there is a problem that each state gets 2 Senators. The problem is that in Apportionment Act of 1911 stops the House of Representatives from growing any bigger than 435 members therefore requiring the shifting of Congressperson allotment since then. Until that time the size of the House was varied with the population variance. The U.S. population has tripled since then, even adding two more states but the size of the House has stayed the same. The Wyoming Rule would take the least populous state's smallest district and make THAT the size all districts should be and add candidates accordingly. According to the 2010 census, we would now have about 546 members in the House if we did that.

Of courses Clinton repealed Glass Steagall, the ideas of the economists of the time were those of the type that advised Thatchers government, help the rich if you want them to make jobs and to make us rich deregulate the big industries. Clinton repealed Glass Speagal so deregualting the banks in The US and Tony Blair derregualted the banks in England, both of which actions are thought by the best economists to have caused the crash in the banks of2008. Fransico Franco, Spains tyrant ruler before the time of thatcher had instated ideas from the left , the welfare state, the ideas that all new shining modern countries had, he was lucky people have a more favourable memory of bits of the welfare state than they do of the 2008 crash. There are fashions in economic ideas as well as in clothes. The new economists were such as The Austrian school and the Chicago boys and their ideas were the ones who people trusted would make us richer and for a while they worked, The Wellfare state and similar was still working well for a while, ......but soon they will have been totally done for...., and the combination of helping the rich went on with the old system of helping the poor to have enough money to buy what industry produced, was still in place. So was the welfare states system of employing a lot of people like school teachers and doctors and road builders, still in place. All the policies of this new school of thinking, that is now still the fashion, worked round the central idea that if you want wealth you must help the rich, who give jobs. So, do for the trade unions, deregulate the rich and reduce their taxes, while you increase the taxes on the poor with a tax on every product they buy. called VAT in England and that way grow the economy. Talk about going back to, heaven only knows what all time, before modern times,.Just hope you have some people around capable of making money and maybe you will live in a rich country is the oldest and idea in the world. Allow theives to steal cars and the theives will start employing people, they will get rich the economy wil work. WHat made the modern world was heling the poor which worked economically. YOu had more capable people in your country the rich could not spend their wealth buyin gdiamonds the governemt used their wealth to build schools and such and spent money within their own countries and then the poor had enough money to but wha tindustrrialists produced. Going as far as the soviet union di ddid not work. Of course General Franco, Spains ruler was implementing the ideas of a well fare state, all the modern countries that looked so good because they were educating their poor, not just teaching them reading, writing and maths but giving them the possibility to get to university level did those things. Countries that did not, looked so woefully poor. Giving a good education to all your population was an absolute wow. It looked like unimaginable richessness it was really, unimaginable good statesman ship, What country, in any other time had dreampt of trying to reach, giving higher education to all its population?. And health care for all! Health care that did not only look after all, it also increased research, so that it is, in many countries, the place in which you find all the cutting edge research going on is, and . The state gives the best health care, who would go on private medicine when they had a really serious illness here in Spain? A friend of mines boyfriend had stomach cancer, naturally it was the government care that helped with such a serious illness. Clinton did what Franco did, he followed the fashion of his time, so did Tony Blair in England.

The real problem is that the billionaires are so rich that they can spend a lot of money indoctrinating the population about the importance of helping billionaires, who give jobs and who, in theory, don't take away peoples liberties like the nanny state does. HTe main religons also indoctrinate population to vote for the right. I think a good way to attack such, would be to start pointing your fingure at Bill Gates because, much as he spends money on charities, he takes for him the money that should be his workers. He has earned that money but so have the many who work for him. They used to make films about wicked factory owners or Scrooge we shouldbe making films about the billionaires. I say Bill Clinton because as a modern man, people think he is cool, and don't make him face the music but, ditto all the other billionaires.

Bill Mahers, I am not dead sure about it but it seems to me that psychologists would wonder about your own childhood as you are so tremendously against children. The painter Munch had a very hard time having relaionships with women and his father was a very puritanical religious type and his sister and his mother had died when he was a child, he painted an agonising picture of them ill, dyuing.. oe had some childhood experiences that seemed to have messed him up. YOur father beating you might have something to do with you hating being with children. Degas coudl not get it off with women it was said, and as a child his mother had numerous miscarriages and then died before she was thirty.. Bad experiences in childhood seem to be what stops people wanting to have families. The oldiies always get tremendously worried about the new generation. Spoilt brats, type Dudley Dursley have always existed and by the same rule you can be sure that because some of those who spoil their brats have become so extremly rich and can pay to get their children into university. My parents like yours would not have done that, my husband would.Trouble with parents who wont promote their children, my father said that the parents who help their children with homework only do so to compete with other parents, for mean competetiveness not to help them become competent in the part of studies they have trouble with, is that such parents later on would not help me when i was right and in need of help,. So both Dursley and non Dursley parents have their advantages and dis-advantages,. Parents who think backing up their children is terrible and mere vanity about your own cildren, fail them when they should be helping.

I love Bill but he is totally wrong about parenting and spanking. My father never hit me. Once I wanted to hit my father though when I was 18 years old or so, but out of respect I held back and walked away. Now I am 41 years old and have a 6 year old son. Therefore I am entitled to say what parenting actually means, so that's what I'll do. I don't use a belt nor do I use any physical contact in a situation where my son needs to learn boundaries. I use my voice. I use the words that come out of my mouth. I use my body language and my eyes. In that situation, where parenting is required, that is all you need. At least with my boy. I can see it hits him hard when I use these skills to get what I want. A child's world you gotta approach black and white. It's OK or not. Happy days 95% of the time but when I say it's done its done. Just that simple.

They live in the most gut wrenching poverty you can imagine, and they're children. Let me put it this way - I didn't want to make it harder for mothers to buy milk. If that took some money out of your pocket and that upsets you, I fully respect that. But if you want anything different from the President of the United States, vote for someone else."

The fact that the founders decided to make things that way doesn’t make it genius or right. They also allowed slavery, created a selection process for POTUS that failed in the 4th election, created a 3rd branch of government with an unspecified number of judges, had Senators that weren’t directly elected by the people, voted for a poorly worded 2nd Amendment, etc. etc. etc. They weren’t gods or even that exceptional. Vote for whoever pisses off the rich (Bernie!). They're the true Progressives and the *real* Liberals. Establishment Dems like Booker, Harris, and yes...Biden need to step aside. Look at the candidate's record. Who funds them? How often do they vote with fucking Republicans?!
